Drop your reoccurring dreams in here for sake-keeping. They can be prophetic, pleasant, confusing, seemingly pointless - but as long as they continue to return, I'd like to hear about them.

I would estimate that, out of all the dreams I’ve remembered upon waking, approximately 80% of them were in a hotel and/or involve an elevator. Pretty frequently those dreams are in a hotel and there’s something involving an elevator in the hotel. Super odd, and I’ve always wondered why in holy heck this would be recurring somehow in my mind! Would welcome any and all thoughts/speculation! Cheers!

I would love to hear more details...I have often been able to make sense of dreams...for some reason...I don't know why. Interpretation gift maybe.

One of my recurring dreams is in a large ‘hotel-like’ building too.
I say that because it has everything attached, a bar, shops, restaurant area so it’s not a small building, it’s a labyrinth that I am forever getting lost in even though I am familiar with the place.
The dream will start differently, no two are ever the same but the end is always the same - which is me not being able to find my way back to my room/my family.
Losing my children is a regular theme in my dreams. ☹️
I have a friend who has built a whole world in his dreams. Started off with a feeling of being more alive in this other world. Small house, happiness etc etc, but he has now built a village around that little house.
He definitely preferred living in that world to this one at one point in time.
Maybe the buildings we build in dream world are a reflection of our state of mind in this world.
Maybe the elevator reflects how you’re feeling, does it get you to where you want to be? Is it out or order? Do you get stuck in it?
I have one in my hotel too and I know it’s bad news to get in it.😆

For as long as I can remember, I've had a reoccurring dream. I don't have it often, maybe every couple years or so. But in this dream, I'm in a house that I have never been to before but it's always a very familiar place anyway. Each time, it's a different house but the dream is the same. I'm trapped in this seemingly familiar house but can't find my way out. Each time I open a door, there is just another room. Never an exit. Each room is always more intricate & confusing than the last. When I double back, the previous rooms I've already seen become new & more complicated than they were when I first walked through them. It's a little like that Christmas episode of The X-Files. Only, I've been having this dream since before that show existed. I've always seen it as a sign from my subconscious that I've allowed life to become too complicated & I just need to simplify things.

I hated school so one of mine isn't surprising. But I dream that it's the last day of class/finals and I haven't been to class all year. Not only can I not find the classroom, but I have no idea what the class was about. In reality, I ditched classes as often as I could get away with it in high school so this dream is my punishment!

I have three daughters, but there is a 16 year age gap between my last two. Starting about two years before I gave birth to my youngest, every night I would have a dream that I had given birth to a child, but I could not find the baby. The baby would be there for part of the dream, but then I would either forget the child somewhere or misplace the child or the baby just vanished. Again, this happened every night right up to when I found out I was pregnant. It was either God speaking to me or my biological clock since I was nearing the late 30's. Love your show Frank!

Hi, Frank. I haven't had this recurring dream in quite a while, but starting in my teenage years and running through (pun intended) my 20's I would have a dream of getting gored by a bull. The scene would always be different. Sometimes familiar and sometimes not, but it always ended with me getting brutally gored and most of the time it woke me from sleep. It has probably been 10-15 years since I had one and I never really figured out what it might mean.Last edited by BSINN79; 08-12-2022, 04:23 PM.

I'm a musician, so this this reoccurring dream kinda makes since. The reoccurring dream is that I'm heading to a gig in some city that I've never been too, or a hotel or ballroom that I've never played. It's always dark and the cities and hotels are kind of creepy and gloomy. If I do find where I'm supposed to be there'll always be problems with the load-in. I (we) can't find the right loading dock, building or door where we're supposed to be. Or I'm dollying the equipment into an area of the hotel looking for the stage, just to have to turn around. It's always like a maze . . . and worse, is being late and not knowing where I'm supposed to be. Of course I'm panicked and stressed through the whole ordeal - because to me there is nothing worse than being late to a show.
These dreams come and go over a period of years. I'll have them for a few months and then won't have them again for years.
On a side note - California's AB5 wrecked live music in the state. Not to mention what the Covid debacle did to live music everywhere. Which is probably why I started having the dreams again. I moved to Nevada where I'm playing a lot again. Never looked back. Love your show Frank! Keep up the great work!

I’ve had this dream since childhood and I’m 54 now. It starts out where I can fly and I land in Big Ben National Park. Once I land I can’t take off again so I have to walk out of the park. I walk over this big tree that has fallen over a deep ravine. I have to go through this cave to get out of the park. At the exit of this cave there is a sharp 180 degree turn and at the turn there is a muddy pool. At this point in the dream I remember I have had this dream hundreds of times and I know there is a Mud-Man in that pool and I have to run past him. All of a sudden I’m wearing a brand new white T-shirt and as I run past the Mud-Man the dream goes into slow motion and I’m just thinking that my Mom is going to be so pissed when she sees how dirty my new shirt is as the Mud-Man is trying to grab me. And that’s where the dream ends.

Since childhood, I've had a recurring dream of a secret door in my closet that leads to a huge underground gold and gems mine. There is always an abundance of precious metals/gems, but the people I run into down there always seem to be different based on what's going on in my life. I've never been able to get any meaning from any of the occurrences.

I've had the same dream for as long as I can remember. In my dream im sleeping, and wake up (all while still dreaming) be in the same room that I fell asleep in, but theres a window that isnt there in real life. I get this insane feeling of paranoia and know someone is watching me. Its always a little different, sometimes I see a UFO fly in front of the window, sometimes long lengthy gray fingers will grip the door frame. Then I'll start trying to yell to wake up. I've never seen their faces or had anything else happen in these dreams. Normally the yelling will wake me up or the girl next to me will wake up saying I was yelling in my sleep.
When I was a child my parents said they would find me out on the porch some nights just staring at the sky...
Havent had one of these dreams in about 2-3 years.. really hoping this doesnt warrant them making a visit anytime soon.. fucking aliens

I'm not one who remembers many dreams, but one that recurred several times when I was a kid stuck with me. It was born out of my fears back in the days when they would prepare us in school for an atomic bomb. The dream was that an alien invasion was occurring, and we all had to head to the nearest bomb shelter on an army base. We lined up in a huge, felt like miles-long line to get into this shelter. I couldn't find my family and we didn't think there was any way everyone could fit into this shelter. Everyone began to murmur that the aliens were here. We saw the craft coming down and that is when I would try to yell "help", but no sound would come out of my mouth, and I would wake up still trying to yell "help." I haven't had this dream in about 45 years, but still remember how scared it made me feel

I’m 68 years old. I wish I could remember exactly the age I was when I first had this strange, frightening, recurring dream, but knowing where I was the first time I had it, I can be certain it was in my early 20’s. I will preface it by saying, I very rarely dream ( or don’t normally remember them ) but this one occurs at least once a year. I am in a hotel, and it is seaside. It appears that I’m about 3-4 floors up. I’m standing in a dining area looking towards the glass sliding doors facing the ocean, and I’m talking with someone on the phone and sometimes it’s confusing because I sometimes am talking with someone in the hotel room a familiar person with me. It’s a very quick dream, because right as I’m learning from this person that I should get out of there, I see the swell of a gigantic tsunami moving towards the beach, and just as I see that there’s no getting out of there, I abruptly wake up.
I don’t even want to verbalize at this point what I think that could mean. It’s kind of like the story we tell of my grandmother who said she’d lived a long life because she ate a sweet potato every day of her adult life. Until she didn’t. 🥺

A little lame I know. But as long as I can remember I have dreams that I could float. Not like flying from one place to another. Just could float only about as high as a house. Funny part is, I know in my dreams how it is done. I feel my Molecules changing so that their field defies gravity. Different places, different times in each dream But I have had them all of my life.

For me, I think certain people represent ideas. For example, a high school friend from my past has become very successful running a hedge fund. He appears in my dreams from time to time. But, I don't think the dreams are necessarily about him, but rather subconscious reflections about my own success. My high school gf has been showing up in my dreams lately. I'm trying to wrap my head about what she represents.

Hi Frank. For 10 years I dreamed about my ex-husband even though twe had split amicably years before. I was constantly dreaming about him. I was either trying to get away from him or trying to find him. I thought to myself many times…was he I’ll? What’s going on that every dream I have is about him? Then one night I dreamed I was in his house looking for him. His family was there, but he was not. Then his mother came up to me and said, “Marcy, don’t you think you’ve done this long enough?” I agreed with her. The dream ended and I never dreamed about him again.
